Simply a-maize-ing.
When fall comes around, big orange pumpkins tend to get all the glory and as much as we love the see of glowing gourds for the spooky season, we feel the beautiful yellow maize patches deserve some attention too. One of our favorites is the Tapia Brothers Farm’s corn maze. This gigantic patch of corn is transformed into a magical maze where kids and adults alike get to solve trivia questions and navigate through the towering stalks in a quest for a cash prize.
The theme changes annually and the field of organic art can only really be admired by those flying over or drones. Of course, there will be a pumpkin patch too along with a farmer’s market to stock up on fresh vegetables and other produce. You’ll also want to stop by the corn stand and reward yourself for making it through the maze with roasted corn.
There’s plenty to keep kids entertained, like hayrides, wagons, train rides, a bounce house, ponies, a petting zoo and other festive attractions. The Halloween fun begins on October 2 and it will be open daily from 9 am-6 pm from Monday to Saturday and 9 am-6 pm on Sundays.
