‘Take the scenic route’ at The Grove’s new drive-through this weekend—it’s all for a good cause!
For this Saturday only, Main Street will be transformed into one big drive-through for the first time ever! You’ll be able to order delicious food to-go from the Miramar food truck (a new concept from Caruso’s Montecito resort) and take a spin around the beautiful fountains all while listening to classic tunes. On top of that, for every meal purchased a donation will be made to Para Los Niños.
You’ll be able to order anything from tacos made with homemade tortillas, and ice-cream sandwiches to Angus prime double patties all made by Chef Massimo Falsini. The beautiful scenery and delicious food can be enjoyed while knowing it’s all going towards feeding and educating kids on Skid Row.
From Mel’s Carhop Drive-Thru to the tiki-themed drive-in theatre, it’s fair to say that drive-ins and drive-throughs are experiencing a bit of a renaissance. As we’ve all been cooped up inside for so long, the simple pleasures feel a little more magical.
The exciting announcement came on Tuesday, just after shopping malls were given the go-ahead to reopen.
This Saturday only, take the scenic route as we open up Main Street for The Grove’s first-ever drive-through experience 🚗 Enjoy the sights, music and bites from Miramar To-Go. For every meal purchased, a meal will be donated to @ParaLosNinosOrg. https://t.co/43lKA32RlA pic.twitter.com/WzyfUQEHmK
