The Original Lobster Festival Returns To Long Beach This Weekend For Its 23rd Year!

By Malia Wooten

Time to get crackin’!

If your mouth waters at the thought of eating fresh, live Maine lobster, you’re not going to want to miss this festival… On Friday, September 6th through Sunday the 8th, seafood fans across the city will tread water (or traffic) to make it to the scrumptious lobster extravaganza for its 23rd year running!

No need to worry about a shortage of food because the 2019 Original Lobster Festival is bringing back the World’s Largest Cooker, along with all the games, activities, and live music that locals have come to know and love over the past two decades. Spend time burning some calories on the dance floor so that you can make room for, yes, another lobster roll or kick back and relax in the VIP lounge!

Whatever you do – don’t forget to take a *free souvenir e-photo or to check out the creepies and crawlies at the live reptile exhibit. From cocktails, karaoke, and carnival games, to inflatable bounce houses, magicians, and of course, TONS of food – there’s a little something for everyone to enjoy. So rally the crew and gather ’round the LBC saltwater lagoon!
