The Union Station Will Set “Dreams In Motion” During The Summer Train Fest

Browse amongst a rare collection of beautifully restored vintage train engines and cars from the 1940s, 50s, and 60s! 🛤

This Saturday, July 14th, a festival will take over the Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles starting at 10 am and lasting through 5 pm. Explore the future of train travel with exclusive and rarely seen train cars from Metrolink and Amtrak! Fan favorites include the Zephyr Fleet, Redwood Empire, The Utah, and the National Forum. Food trucks, vintage cars, and music from the hottest DJs will keep the festivities “on track” while the first 1,000 guests complete an event passport to receive a commemorative Summer Train pin.

Enjoy the experience of state-of-the-art 360° virtual reality stations featuring rides through the Swiss Alps and much more! Metrolink and California High-Speed Rail will also be there offering an interactive glace into the high-tech future of train travel. Don’t leave without taking a blast to the past with the Los Angeles Union Station Historical Society and the Los Angeles Railroad Heritage Foundation as they display the storied past of rail transportation in the city.
