If you’ve been online recently, then you know UFO’s and aliens have been quite the conversation ever since an alleged sighting took place in a Vegas families backyard last week. So that got us thinking… 👽💭 We decided to ask our audience on Facebook if they’ve ever spotted a UFO around Los Angeles County, and we received some interesting replies.
Whether you’re a believer or a skeptic, the stories below are bound to make you think some out of this world thoughts.
1. “I saw one about a week ago, while I was driving 210 West from Pasadena. A bright light floating. Then elevated very fast. Then it stopped, issued a very bright flash and disappeared. It was about 10:30 PM. Several cars likely saw it… the flash at the end was quite strong. My eyes did hurt a little, even when the source wasn’t that close (about half mile).” — Rafael
2. “Yes. That tic tac shaped UFO that some documentaries talk about. It was above the hill in Palos Verdes. I witnessed it from my street in San Pedro. I was in the car with my dad and brother and my dad stopped dead in the middle of an intersection and kept confirming with me and my brother if we saw it too. It moved in impossible formations and speeds then shot straight up and was gone. This was approximately 2001.” — Angel
3. “In 2007 I saw a ufo fly across the sky in downtown LA. It was a bright yellow orb. It made a loop and disappeared into the horizon at super sonic speeds. The following morning at 3am as I watched the sky, the sky turned bright green for a moment as if there was a massive explosion somewhere far away and everything lit up like if it was daylight. Then the light faded and darkness returned.” — Ivan
4. “Yes. I was a teen in Chatsworth. As we were leaving taco bell we saw a green orb the size of a softball slowly flying about five feet off the ground flying around the parking lot. It then took off like a bullet after several minutes. I always felt it was something from the test lab at Rocketdyne up on the hill 
I was with another teen named Dean [redacted*]. He wouldn’t talk about saying nobody would believe us anyway. I still tell people about it.” — Brandon

5. “It was 1963 . My dad and I lived in a trailer park in Antelope Valley. Back then the trailer park was out in the middle of the desert with dirt roads. I was nine at the time. It was night time, when a bright lite lit up the entire trailer park from above. We couldn’t see the craft, just the light with no sound. The light moved upwards and became smaller and moved Westwards towards the prison. All this took about 30 seconds. My dad worked at North American Aviation in Palmdale, He says he never seen anything like that before.” — Daniel
6. “Saw one after midnight in ‘04 while driving the 15 from Vegas to OC. It was big enough to see in the quiet, dark ,desert. It looked muted gray, saucer shaped. No sound.” — Vanessa
7. “In 2011, I saw something over Torrance, CA that I couldn’t explain rationally. For over a decade, I’ve been sky watching with my telescopes looking to capture evidence. I’ve gone as far as to start a non profit that gives away telescopes via contest as well as getting a job at SpaceX in Hawthorne. I’m determined to find answers. ” — Michael
