Every year, Angelenos from across the city pour into the city’s most iconic venues, for what has become the wine-lovers event of the year. This year’s event returns to the exquisite location of Union Station on January 28. During the day, you can wander the gardens enjoying the California sunshine and swaying palms as you sample wines from the world’s finest wineries. As the sun sets into the horizon, the glamourous Art Deco interiors will be illuminated for an unforgettable evening of music, immaculate sips and delectable bites.
Organizers of Uncorked have cemented this annual celebration as a must for any wine fanatic by meticulously curating a list of wineries with a rating of 90 points and higher in quality and taste—so your palates are in good hands. There’ll also be a selection of the city’s top gourmet food trucks to pair with your precious pours. There couldn’t be a more fitting location to usher in this new vanguard of winemakers and vendors than the symbol of renaissance, Union Station.
As you bask in the bouquet of aromas and flavors, there’ll be DJs spinning incredible music and live music to keep you mingling on the expansive marble dance floor. You’ll also find oversized games like Uno, Jenga and more to keep you entertained throughout the evening.
Guests will have an option of two sessions, one for $80 which gives you early access (from 5 p.m.) to the event and an extra hour of tastings. The second is $65 and you’ll be welcomed in at 6 p.m. The entire event will last until 9 p.m. with all tastings included in the ticket price. Just note, food is sold separately at the event.
