Netflix released the trailer for their newest comedy-horror film, “We Have a Ghost,” and it’s got us excited for the full thing.
The synopsis? Shortly after moving in, a family catches a ghost — Ernest, played by David Harbour. As they decide to share their hilarious ghostly experiences on the web, the discovery of this spectre propels the family to the status of ‘viral’ on social media and ‘suspect’ in the eyes of the CIA. Steering away from the standard ‘haunted house’ movie, this new film directed by Christopher Landon (“Paranormal Activity” and “Freaky”) promises to put a smile on your horrified faces!
The film is adapted from a 2017 Vice Magazine short story by Geoff Manaugh called “Ernest,” only this time with a illustrious cast. Anthony Mackie, Jennifer Coolidge, and of course — David Harbour — will haunt your screens in an unexpectedly playful way.
This is not Harbour’s first horror ride, however: the distinguished actor rose to popularity after starring in Suicide Squad (2016) and playing the beloved Jim Hopper on the hit show, Stranger Things.

We’re impatiently waiting of the final season of Stranger Things, but until then, we know where to find Harbour. “We Have a Ghost” premieres on Netflix this February 24.
