The iconic LA restaurant is opening a new flagship location sometime this month.
Remember a time when the combo sounded strange? Fast forward to an abundance of places in the city that serve fried chicken and waffles; none of which hit the spot quite like Roscoe’s!
The new Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles sits on the corner of La Brea and Washington and is on track to open within the next couple of weeks. And since it was built from the ground up, the company got full control to design everything from the kitchen to the dining area. Whether this latest addition will mirror its sister locations or give off a brand new feel is currently unknown – but the one things we know for sure is that the menu has no intention to change.
Unfortunately, the Roscoe’s on Pico Boulevard will shut down not long after the La Brea location is up and running. It’s quite sad considering this was the very location that Barrack Obama made a surprise visit to back during his presidency in 2011. On a brighter note, the newest location sits right across the street from the site of the first-ever Roscoe’s which was demolished a couple years back.
Reps for the company says that there is definitely talk of branching out to several new expansions in the future.
Location: 1865 S. La Brea Ave., Los Angeles, CA. See it on Google maps.
