Los Angeles is hosting one of the biggest Fourth of July celebrations in the country this year! As part of the nationwide America250 festivities marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the iconic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum will host America’s Block Party on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
The event is more than just a concert. It also marks the launch of Giving 4th, a new America250 initiative encouraging people to give back during their Independence Day celebrations. Americans are invited to support a nonprofit or cause they care about by making a charitable donation.
Who is performing at America’s Block Party?
The first wave of performers includes Chris Stapleton and The Smashing Pumpkins, with more artists expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Award-winning actress, producer, and musician Queen Latifah will host the evening, guiding audiences through performances, stories of impact, and celebrations taking place across the country.
“Los Angeles knows how to put on a show, and hosting America’s Block Party at the LA Coliseum is going to be something special,” Queen Latifah said in a statement. “This is a chance to celebrate a once-in-a-generation milestone with great music, real energy, and a purpose that reaches far beyond the stadium.”
What can attendees expect?
The festivities begin at 3 p.m. with the Block Party Village, where ticket holders can enjoy live music, giveaways, and complimentary food and drinks before the main event.
The concert kicks off at 6 p.m. and will culminate in a spectacular fireworks and drone show over the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Beyond the entertainment, the event also launches Giving 4th, a nationwide initiative encouraging Americans to celebrate Independence Day by supporting nonprofits and causes they care about.
What is America250?

Through nationwide events, educational programs, storytelling initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and cultural celebrations, the organization aims to engage Americans in reflecting on the nation’s history while looking toward its future.
America’s Block Party in Los Angeles serves as the West Coast centerpiece of a broader celebration taking place across the country.
