When it comes to putting on a show, Los Angeles is one of the best cities in the world to do it. No matter where you are in L.A. this Independence Day, you’ll be able to bring in another year of celebration with a bang! We’ve gathered a list of 8 of the best firework shows to catch in town.
1. Marina del Rey
Every year people go to Marina del Rey to gaze at fireworks exploding over the glistening ocean. Plan to arrive early to the Burton Chace Park or Fishermans Village to watch the show with synchronized music! Fireworks start at 9 p.m. and arrival at 1 p.m. is highly suggested. Learn more here.

2. Hollywood Bowl
The Hollywood Bowl is known as one of the most iconic amphitheaters in the world, so you know they have a reputation to live up to. This weekend you’ll have a show in the sky and on stage by celebrating this magnificent holiday with a legendary band! The iconic Beach Boys will be taking over Hollywood Bowl from July 2-4, 2023. 3. Hollywood Forever Cemetery
You’ll have a chance this year to fully entertain yourself with a movie and fireworks! Cinespia and Hollywood Forever are teaming up for a night full of festivities. July 1, 2023 kicks off with a DJ, photo booths, and a screening of “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” followed by fireworks. Disneyland has a firework show pretty much every night of the year. But on the 4th of July, state-of-the-art projections, show lighting and lasers will transform Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle and the façade of “it’s a small world” into a dazzling, family-fun dance party that goes sky-high with fireworks to celebrate the leader of the club, Mickey Mouse. Nothing says Fourth of July like a Dodger Dog in one hand and a michelada in the other. What better way to celebrate a holiday than at Blue Heaven on Earth? Enjoy a baseball game followed by some gorgeous fireworks at Dodgers Stadium. Universal Studios has you covered all weekend long with their weekend full of fireworks.
