In honor of the 70th Anniversary of the “Happiest Place on Earth,” Amtrak has unveiled a new Disneyland-themed railcar for its Pacific Surfliner.
The limited-time train wrap features famous Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, and Goofy overlaying Anaheim’s iconic theme park.
The railcar went into service on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, reports KTLA. The Los Angeles – San Diego – San Luis Obispo (LOSSAN) Rail Corridor Agency shared the artwork on social media.
“We are thrilled to be part of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration,” said LOSSAN Agency Chair and City of Fullerton Mayor Fred Jung. “Taking the Pacific Surfliner to one of the world’s most iconic and beloved destinations makes magical memories start the moment your journey begins.”
Amtrak is also offering customers special deals for the park.
Amtrak customers can save 5% on standard theme park 1- to 5-day admission tickets, as well as a specially priced 3- or 4-day ticket with admission to 1 park per day. Tickets are valid for use from May 16 through August 14, 2025.
Customers can also save 20% on travel to Anaheim with promo code V712. Make sure to use Amtrak’s booking tool and select “Adult” as the passenger type.
