Can you ever have too much breakfast burrito?
(The answer is obviously no.)
We know the feeling all too well. You wake up in the morning with an unbelievable craving for food…
Your usual protein smoothie? It won’t do.
Postmates a stack of pancakes? Gonna need something better than that.
What about whipping up an omelet? Who’s got the time… MUST. EAT. NOW!
If there was an award for a breakfast meal that has the ability to satisfy all your hunger cravings while somehow ‘curing’ your not-so-wise choices from the night prior — it would be an easy win. Breakfast burritos are the perfect combination of savory and hearty, and when made well, feel like a warm hug from Mom.
We sent some pals over to the Arts District in DTLA to find the yummiest breakfast burritos in the area, and we must say… we’re as impressed and we are hungry!
If you’re drooling as much as we are, you might want to grab a napkin because the breakfast burrito content continues. Check out the list of the best BBs in the Arts District, below! 🤤
Guerrilla Tacos
Dine-in or stroll up to the small to-go window on the side of the trendy taco shop. From 7a to 11a, you can choose from three breakfast burrito options: a traditional bean, cheese, and egg option, an all-veggie option with a fried egg, and our favorite – an avocado, egg, and bacon breakfast burrito with guac! If you want to take things up a notch, be sure to ask for a side of their homemade salsa.

Zinc Cafe
This bad boy is a little more on the healthier side, but it still has those hit-the-spot powers. You can order this breakfast burrito as a bowl, but if you’re going for the classic burrito feel order it in a wrap. It’s made up of scrambled eggs, vegetarian sausage, and onion sauté and comes with house-made tortilla chips (so be sure to order extra guac!)

Go Get ‘Em Tiger
Brb, we’re currently drooling over the thought of the perfect bite made up of chorizo, eggs, and creme fraiche… but seriously, you’ve got to try it. The large chunks of potatoes are one of our favorite parts on this dish, because, who doesn’t enjoy a well-crisped potato? While you diving into your heavenly burrito, maybe opt-in for some coffee to give you the energy you’ll need to resist buying another one.
