Feel like you’re a 12-year-old again – but this time – one who can drink!
The originators of arcade games, food, and booze under one roof have made their way to LA and are getting cozy in Highland Park! Barcade will be the home to over 70 different classic arcade games that keep you busy for an evening filled with competition and butt-kicking that you may have a hard time peeling yourself away to head home. (Who knows, you’re Mom may have to come and shut your antics down – just like the good ol’ days.)
The Brooklyn-based company is on the rise of serious expansion, with plans of heading to Detroit in the near future. All things considered, the guys over at Barcade are able to buy pinball and cabinet arcade games in bulk and have plans to rotate the options frequently… truly bringing back the nostalgic feels of running to the arcade to see the latest feature! When you need a break from all the competition, stuff your face with all the binge-worthy staples like pizza bagels, burgers, wings, as well as a handful of meatless options!
Occupying around 6,000 square feet, LA’s Barcade has earned the title of Largest Barcade in America before even opening its doors to the public. Expect two bar areas, one of which can be reserved for private events, serving up everything to fuel you back up for another round with craft beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. With that being said, the new Highland Park establishment is adults-only, besides occasional one-off family event days – there’s one scheduled to happen later this month.
