Discover this hidden utopia nestled within the leaves of Silver Lake.
There’s definitely no shortage of patios here in the city, however, there are only a few that you would selfishly want to keep a secret. Silver Lake’s version of an adult treehouse that offers exceptional vibes as well as delightful food and cocktail options is surely one of them.
If you don’t know it’s there, Cliff’s Edge can be quite easy to miss – be on the lookout for a tall bohemian entry that hides alongside a collection of various plants. Once you enter this urban oasis you’ll be greeted by vivacious color, stunning stained glass windows, delightful aromas, and the welcoming shade of a massive tree that spreads its branches across the multi-level eatery.
Though the picturesque patio may be the first thing to grab your attention, the rustic indoor dining area is just as impressive. Eye-catching colors are scattered throughout the room along with a variety of vintage decor and furniture. If you happen to find yourself wanting to sit inside, don’t forget glance over the cocktail menu at the bar – it’s filled with a variety of elegant cocktails like the Velvet Butterfly made with bimini gin, butterfly pea flower, falernum, lime, spiced coconut or the Drop a Gem crafted with Gem & Bolt mezcal, green chartreuse, luxardo, lime, cucumber.
Sure the indoor-outdoor ambiance sets the bar pretty high in regards to exquisite dining, but both the dinner and brunch menu do their fair share to complement the overall experience. From a savory bone-in New York strip steak or squid ink fettuccine to a sweet stack of lemon and ricotta pancakes or apple cinnamon french toast; there’s just about something for everyone. Whatever you do, locals recommend not skipping out on the parker house rolls!
