The building has been slated for demolition come April 1, 2021.
In a collaborated attempt to keep the last days of the former Sinatra hangout, chefs Josiah Citrin and Hans Röckenwagner are teaming up to flip steaks and serve plenty of cocktails for a limited-time-only run.
Röckenwagner and Citrin have updated the classic American menu and old-school cocktail list, serving guests the meals they love with a new spin that they won’t forget! Dabble in timeless dishes like the ribeye steak, chicken parmesan, oysters, and Caesar salad for two, which is tossed right in front of your eyes!
It’s no surprise that celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis have already stopped by for a bite even though the reopening took place earlier this week – John’s has been frequented by a countless number of Hollywood elites over the years given it being located a ways down from Sony Studios on Culver Blvd.
Be sure to enjoy the iconic restaurant while it’s still around, as of right now there is an end date for the nostalgic eatery with plans to shut down service and tear down the building in April of next year. Currently, Dear John’s doors are open Tuesday through Sunday during dinner hours 5 p to 11 p. The bar will remain open until midnight, and extend to 2 a Thursday through Saturday.
Location: 11208 Culver Blvd, Culver City, CA 90230. See it on Google maps.
