Thrifters, rejoice! Facebook Marketplace is hosting a “Residency” pop-up in Los Angeles – with a real-life market and free giveaways for anyone who stops by.
From a digital platform to a real-life experience, Facebook is celebrating a decade of its marketplace feature with Still Available, a new Community Day residency at the James Fuentes Gallery off Melrose Ave. On Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10 am to 6 pm, visitors can enjoy a free embroidery/customization market, a vintage car show, zine making, photobooths, and CD/mixtape customization.
For thrift-lovers, there will be a curated fashion, furniture, and art market on site, boasting “one-of-a-kind” finds, according to the event page. There will also be vintage giveaways and experiential moments, including a Hall of Mirrors and a chance to customize a vintage bandana at the embroidery station.
You can also RSVP for a few other events, including:
- Cars & Coffee: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Cookbook Signing: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
- Sound Creation: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
The cookbook signing is for Morning Baker by Roxana Jullapat of Friends and Family Bakery, who will be signing her cookbook in person (and yours is free to take home).
The Sound Creation event is a chance to get on the DJ board yourself and drop a few beats!
The event is 18+. Walk-ins are welcome.
