Halloween season is the perfect excuse to enjoy a little eerie atmosphere, and this candlelit concert near the city is setting the scene with haunting melodies, flickering lights, and a historic California landmark.
Candlelight is bringing A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics to the Richard Nixon Library & Museum in Yorba Linda, where a string quartet will perform eerie favorites in a room illuminated entirely by candlelight.
Halloween classics surrounded by thousands of candles

Forget the usual Halloween party. This experience trades elaborate costumes and jump scares for live music and an atmospheric setting filled with the soft glow of candles. The concert features a selection of spooky classics and memorable film themes, performed by the Orchid Quartet.
The program includes a string quartet arrangement of Michael Jackson’s Thriller, alongside Charles Gounod’s Funeral March of a Marionette, famously associated with Alfred Hitchcock Presents. The setlist also features Dmitri Shostakovich’s String Quartet No. 8 in C minor, adding a darker, dramatic touch to the evening.
