If it looks like a burger, and tastes like a burger… it must be a burger!
Eating vegan is starting to become more of a dietary convenience here in the city considering the rise and demand for meatless dishes/restaurants in L.A. The most recent addition to the growing list of non-meat-serving establishments is Honeybee Burger, a casual vegan eatery located just below the iconic Los Feliz Theater. The “burger” joint just opened this week.
From a classic cheeseburger called The Honeybee, made with house sauce, onion jam, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and Chef Jo’s house-made pickles to Sweet Potato “FROTS” (fries and tots) – we don’t expect the lines out the door to shorten anytime soon. Don’t forget to wrap up your tasty meal with one of Honeybee’s classic vegan shakes or soft-serve ice creams!
The plant-based burger joint takes over the former Vermont block tenant – WKNDR. By the looks of its heavily foot-trafficked location, Honeybee may be the perfect destination for all those with diet restrictions who never really have many options when wanting to grab a bite before an evening at the movies.
Location: 1820 N Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027. See it on Google maps.
Hours: Daily from 11 a.m to 8 p.m.
