It’s easier than you think…
Do your part at Coachella this year by making a conscious effort to reduce your carbon footprint!
Why not try and save Mother Earth while getting our groove on? Being eco-friendly is as easy as ever considering Coachella’s partnership with Amazon this year. Festival attendees can send whatever they left behind (or lost) to a collection of Amazon Lockers onsite at the Empire Polo Club gates with the touch of a (smartphone) button. As long as the item is ordered through Amazon, customers can receive their package within a day!
We’ve made a list of sustainable festival items that we are packing in our bags for the weekend along with Amazon links (because we may or may not have forgotten a thing or two – thank the Coachella gods for these lockers though…)
1. Reusable Utensils
We all have to eat at some point! And if everyone plans on eating three meals a day, then the number of single-use utensils add up. And besides, if you don’t feel like walking to the bathroom to wash them off – you can always use your mouth since you’ll be the only one using them! Order some here.
2. Reusable Napkins
Do you really need a stack of napkins for those french fries? More likely than none, you probably won’t use all of them or if you’re like us, may just use them all since they’re at your disposal! Pack these bad boys, wash them when you get home, and save a tree or two. Order a pack here.
3. Foldable Water Bottle
Not only can you save money (and the planet) by bringing your own water bottle and refilling them at the water stations, you can also save space in your bag when it’s empty. This cool bottle can fold up! Order one here.
4. Paper Straws
Two words: the Turtles! Order some here.
5. Solar Powered Phone Charger
Save electricity and let the sun help you charge up your phone! We all know that there will be plenty of it. Order it here.
6. Biodegradable Glitter
Would it really be a music festival without glitter? We’re well aware that the answer is no – so why not use a glitter that isn’t harmful to the planet! If we’re telling you the truth, we didn’t know that this even existed but now that we do we’re sooo here for it. This glitter is made from plants instead of plastic! Order a pack here.
