Looks like all that screaming for ice cream has paid off…
Looking to beat the heat this season? Head over to the NoMad for a rather sweet summertime treat! [Featured photo courtesy of NoMad DTLA]
The classy downtown hotel is transforming its coffee stand into a gourmet ice cream parlor where guests can order various frozen delights like the return of their famous Milk & Honey ice cream sandwiches! For the entire month of August, Angelenos can make their way over to the ground-floor and towards the literal golden pop-up for specialty scoops, shakes, floats, or affogatos (ice cream + warm espresso = yum!)
Ice cream lovers can expect rotating flavors like classic strawberry featuring Harry’s Berries from the Hollywood Farmer’s Market, a vegan Valrhona dark chocolate, mint chocolate chip with fresh mint and chocolate ganache, lemon cookie, rainbow sherbert including mango, strawberry, coconut and lime, as well as a summery corn ice cream with blueberry compote and honey-butter cornbread crumble!
If you don’t feel like trecking downtown more than once, there’s no shame in ordering more than one scoop… we won’t tell anyone.
