The wait is almost over. Officially opening its doors for a first look this summer, the highly anticipated 42-acre West Harbor district is set to revolutionize the Los Angeles Waterfront in San Pedro.
With one full mile of direct waterfront access and 300,000 square feet of retail, dining, and entertainment, this $500 million mega-project will serve as a premier hub for locals and tourists alike. And it is offering visitors a first look just in time for the biggest sporting event on the planet through a series of openings and activations throughout the rest of 2026.
Here’s why West Harbor needs to be at the top of your summer bucket list.
Made for massive events

The venue officially kicks off its programming this summer by hosting an official Los Angeles World Cup 26 Fan Zone. On July 14, 15, 18, and 19, fans from across the region will pack the waterfront space to watch the tournament’s final rounds on giant broadcast screens. Surrounded by interactive sponsor activations, food, and the electric energy of the harbor, it will be the ultimate way to experience the games.
Poised to become one of the premier live music destinations in California, West Harbor’s new 6,200-seat amphitheater is the crown jewel of the development. The sprawling venue will bring major touring acts and large-scale community events right to the water’s edge, allowing guests to watch live performances with the Pacific Ocean as their backdrop.
Experience premier waterfront dining and coastal attractions

Visitors will be able to find an amazing lineup of coastal attractions woven throughout the district.

Rounding out the experience is an exciting food lineup:
