Britpop group Oasis, known globally for hits like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” has been making headlines this month after announcing their 2025 reunion tour. The tour comes nearly 15 years to the date after brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher split up the group in 2009. Oasis had initially announced tour dates in the U.K. and Ireland for next summer, and Los Angeles was rumored to be next on the docket thanks to a leaked document. Now, we have official proof.
This week, NME made the official announcement listing additional cities on the reunion tour, and Los Angeles is officially one of them. Venues, dates, and ticket info is still TBA, but LA is one of only four US cities to make the list. Oasis will also be stopping in Chicago, East Rutherford, and Boston. Here’s a list of all the cities that have been added to the route:
- Toronto, Canada
- Chicago, US
- East Rutherford, New Jersey, US
- Boston, US
- Los Angeles, US
- Mexico City, Mexico
- Seoul, South Korea
- Tokyo, Japan
- Melbourne, Australia
- Sydney, Australia
- Sao Paulo, Brazil
- Santiago, Chile
- Buenos Aires, Argentina
“The guns have fallen silent,” wrote the band. “The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
Although we’re still waiting on confirmed details for the Los Angeles show, a photo was leaked suggesting that Oasis might pass through L.A.’s Rose Bowl on Sept. 6, 2025. There’s no word yet on whether this date is correct, but the document’s U.K. and Ireland performances did turn out to be accurate.
Oasis might best be known around these parts for their infamous meth-fueled show (yes, meth) at L.A.’s Whiskey A Go Go in 1994. The story goes that the brothers mistook meth for cocaine, and then launched into the disastrous drug-fueled WeHo gig complete with on-stage threats, smashed tambourines, and exploding bass amps.
