Old World Huntington Beach is bringing back its popular Wurst Fest for the third year! On the weekends of May 16-17 and May 23-24, 2026, head to The Biergarten to enjoy fantastic beer and an impressive sausage menu.
Guests can join a Bavarian-style celebration with live music across both weekends courtesy of Stube Buben and the Hammerstein Band. A great selection of classic German and Belgian beers will be flowing all day long, pairing beautifully with an elaborate German food menu.
Attendees can opt for traditional German bratwurst alongside delicious sauerkraut and soft pretzels, or otherwise try a bite from this year’s exotic sausage program. The following sausages cost $18 each:
- Smoked Alligator Andouille
- Smoked Elk Sausage with Bacon and Cheddar
- Smoked Venison Sausage with Port Wine and Potato
- Venison Sausage with Merlot and Blueberries
- Duck and Bacon Sausage with Jalapeño Pepper
- Rattlesnake and Rabbit with Jalapeño Pepper
- Rabbit and Pork with Leeks and Carrots
If you make it to the festival on Saturday, May 17th, an extra surprise is in store: Wiener Dog Races! This hilarious tradition has been running for more than 30 years at The Biergarten. Races will take place at 11am and 1pm only on that Saturday.
“Wurst Fest started as a way to celebrate one of the things we do best: sausage,” said Cyndie Kasko, co-owner of Old World Huntington Beach. “This year we’re going further with smoked alligator, elk, and rattlesnake on the menu alongside the bratwurst our regulars come back for.”
