Shoppers looking for a deal have nine more places to browse, as Ross Dress for Less and its sister chain, dd’s Discounts, have opened new stores, bringing more budget-friendly options for clothing, footwear, accessories, and home essentials. The openings are part of a nationwide expansion by parent company Ross Stores, which added 115 locations in 2026.
The two retailers follow an off-price model, purchasing merchandise at discounted rates and passing some of those savings on to customers. Ross advertises prices 20% to 60% below those at department and specialty stores, while dd’s Discounts promotes savings of 20% to 70% compared with regular prices at moderate department and discount retailers, according to Patch.
