Elephants, pandas, and apes — oh my!
Anyone who’s been to the San Diego Zoo knows it’s colossal. Walking around the entire park can take up to three or four hours… that place is no joke. The zoo occupies over 100 acres and houses more than 3,500 animals of more than 650 species and subspecies!
After having to close its doors because of the coronavirus outbreak, the San Diego Zoo is inviting animal lovers across the globe to take a virtual field-trip that involves staring at adorable animals all day.
You can choose to tap into the Livestream of eleven different exhibits; options include an ape cam, elephant cam, giraffe cam, and tiger cam! Why is it so soothing to watch a koala sleep? Maybe it’s due to the fact that they have no clue what’s going on or simply because they’re just SO. DARN. PRECIOUS!
Whether you’re working from home or have kids around that need entertaining, throwing on a stream of round-the-clock cuteness is definitely recommended. Seriously — there’s even a study that proves looking at cute images can powerfully improve attention and concentration!
