A new grocery store is headed to Los Angeles’ Inglewood neighborhood – and it finally has an opening date!
Sprouts Farmers Market on Crenshaw Boulevard is officially opening to the public on Friday, August 2, 2026.
“We are proud to welcome Sprouts Farmers Market to the City of Inglewood,” said Inglewood Mayor James Butts. “Beyond expanding access to fresh, healthy, and specialty foods, Sprouts is creating more than 90 jobs for residents. This investment reflects the continued growth of our city and advances our vision of making Inglewood a premier place to live, work, raise a family, and thrive.”
The storefront will celebrate with grand opening activities, including a ribbon cutting which will take place on Friday at 6:45 am, and the doors to the store will open at 7 am.
The first 200 shoppers on Friday and Saturday will receive a free reusable tote. And the first 400 guests on Friday will receive a free long-stem rose courtesy of Falcon Farms Floral. The store will also have Sprouts samples available all day on Friday, and is also hosting a Scavenger Hunt.
Some of the location’s featured deals include:
- $5 Sushi Wednesdays – Sprouts rolls fresh sushi daily in-store and offers $5 sushi specials every Wednesday.
- Famous $5 Sandwiches – Sprouts’ Deli features build-your-own and grab-and-go sandwiches starting at just $4.99 featuring Sprouts Brand Deli Meats that are free from preservatives, nitrates and sliced daily. The Deli also offers convenient ready-to-eat meals and heat-and-eat prepared foods.
- Sprouts Wellness Bowls – Fresh, flavorful and ready-to-eat meals made daily in-store, packed with protein and perfect for a quick, healthy meal, starting at just $8.99.
Shoppers can receive 20% off their purchase once over the grand opening weekend when they sign up for a Sprouts Rewards account. The store will also donate groceries that are no longer fit for sale but are still edible to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank with their Sprouts’ Food Rescue program. You can also enter for a chance to win a $500 Sprouts gift card.
