It’s not too often that you hear a DJ is extending their talents into the kitchen!

Earlier this week the world-renowned DJ, Steve Aoki, launched a pizza delivery service here in Los Angeles called Pizzaoki. The delivery-only model operates out of the central Cloud Kitchens space just north of USC, but there is also word that there are four additional standalone Pizzaoki kitchens scattered throughout LA as well.

Though it may seem far-fetched that Aoki would open a restaurant, in this case, the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. Before passing away in 2008, Steve Aoki’s father Hiroaki Aoki founded Benihana in 1963. Aoki’s mom is involved in the pizza service as well making it a family affair! Chizuru Kobayashi is the woman behind the design of the herb-filled dough and sauce on every pizza!

Pizzaoki is available through UberEats and Postmates from 4 p.m. until 2 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 4 p.m. until 4 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
