The Blue Note Jazz Festival returns to the Hollywood Bowl this weekend with an incredible lineup!
The Hollywood Bowl has hosted a jazz festival since 1979, becoming a staple event for Angelenos and beyond. Jazz, hip-hop, and R&B icons will perform at this year’s event, including the one and only Patti Labelle, Grammy-winner Samara Joy, Wyclef Jean, and more alongside host Arsenio Hall.
While the two-day summer kickoff event has been around for over 45 years, this is the festival’s second iteration with Blue Note, which opened its Los Angeles jazz club in late 2025.

- The Yussef Dayes Experience

- LA County High School for the Arts Big Band and Vocal Jazz Ensemble

As always, visitors can bring food to the Hollywood Bowl or purchase on site. While liquor is not allowed into the event, beer and wine are allowed into this LA Phil-sponsored event. Glass bottles and drinking glasses are also allowed into these events specifically.
According to the website, “all containers, picnic baskets, and coolers must be able to fit under your seats or within your box. Containers, picnic baskets, and coolers measuring more than 15 inches wide, 15 inches high, or 22 inches long are not permitted past the ticket gates.”
