Metro Buses And Trains Are Free Tomorrow: Get Out And Vote!

If you want your voice to be heard, the time has come! 🗳️

And the best part is that the city supports you. Tomorrow from 12:01 a.m. until 11:59 p.m., you can catch a ride for free on any Metro bus or rail line in L.A.

Yup! FOR FREE. All six rail lines and 2,200 buses – all. day. long.

That includes all of the local transit operations like Access Services, Santa Clarita Transit, Pasadena Transit, Long Beach Transit, as well as LADOT Transit (DASH, Commuter Express, and Cityride).

There are plenty of reasons to vote in midterms elections, however, Los Angeles County doesn’t have the greatest track record for making it to the polls. Whether it’s because of traffic or lack of transportation – transit authorities all over the county are doing their best to assure that getting around is as easy as possible tomorrow.

Rideshare services are even stepping up to the plate to do their part! Uber is offering $10 off with the promo code VOTE2018, while Lyft is following suit and offering 50% when you submit your zip code. You can even hop on a Lime electric scooter tomorrow for 30 minutes free when you enter the code LIME2VOTE18 on your mobile app.
