One Piece fans, rejoice! Mugiwara, the official merchandiser for the iconic manga and anime series, is opening its first-ever store right here in Los Angeles, California.
Set to open this fall at Westfield Century City, the One Piece Mugiwara store will reportedly be the largest Mugiwara store not only in the U.S., but around the world.
According to a press release from EIN Presswire, the store “will offer a wide variety of merchandise, including exclusive items available only at this location and products featuring original animation artwork. An original in-store video created exclusively for the store is also currently in production. The store is designed to provide a unique shopping experience where visitors can immerse themselves in the world of ONE PIECE and discover something new with every visit.”
Its first permanent store will reportedly feature original animation artwork, exclusive merchandise, and a special in-store video “designed to immerse visitors in the world” of One Piece from Toei Animation. According to ICv2, Mugiwara means “straw hat” in Japanese.
Though no official opening date has been announced just yet, the official Instagram account for the store announced that it’s slated to open in the fall of 2026. The store will open just ahead of One Piece’s 30th anniversary next year, in July of 2027.
L.A. is no stranger to One Piece fever. Earlier this summer, the L.A. Dodgers hosted a One Piece-themed night where they gave guests complimentary straw hats.
