You don’t need a super expensive ticket to experience the craziest tournament atmosphere of the summer. The ultimate football playground is taking over one of the most iconic landmarks in Southern California. Get ready. From Thursday, June 18 to Sunday, June 21, the legendary Original Farmers Market at 3rd & Fairfax is transforming into an official FIFA World Cup Fan Zone.
Here is why you cannot miss this epic four-day festival.
Why you should visit the fan zone
Sadly, securing a seat inside the stadium can be incredibly difficult. However, this official festival gives everyday fans an affordable way to gather, watch the matches live, and celebrate the games together. Some of the features that makes this fan zone especial are:
Massive Screens: You will not miss a single moment of action thanks to a giant 30-foot main LED screen and a 15-foot secondary screen.
Diverse Crowds: Los Angeles is home to people from every corner of the globe, creating an unmatched international atmosphere.
Family Activities: The zone includes a free Interactive Soccer Playground with youth games hosted by the Tiki Taka soccer league.
The Original Farmers Market
Beyond the action on the field, the venue itself makes this event unique. The Original Farmers Market has been a staple of the city for over 90 years. You will be able to order from more than 40 international eateries and specialty shops inside the market. Also, adults over 21 can access two dedicated beer gardens. Whether you want to wave a giant flag, show off your favorite jersey, or just eat great food with your family, there is a warm spot waiting for you at the market.
