Okay, what’s up with this weather?
This week Los Angeles experienced its first snow day in years, and now the National Weather Service is telling us that we’re not going to need the winter coats we just bought!
Following weeks of on-and-off again rainstorms, Angelenos can expect temperatures that have been in the 30s to rise into the mid-70s by Friday of next week! We know, it’s hard to believe considering what we’ve been going through this unusually wet winter (poor us), but we can look forward to breaking out our board shorts and sandals again!
In all honestly this weather is throwing everyone out of whack. The last time Los Angeles saw any snow was in 1962 so you can only imagine how excited the lucky ones who witnessed snow in Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Calabasas, Northridge and Pasadena were. Sure the snow melted as soon as it hit the ground, but snowflakes were falling from the sky people! The white stuff is cool and all but we’re just happy to hear about all the sun rays coming back our way!
Hallelujah!
