The crossover we didn’t know we needed!
Just ahead of his sure-to-be-explosive Apple Music half-time show at Super Bowl LX, Bad Bunny has released L.A. Rams-themed merchandise. Though they lost Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks and won’t be advancing to the championship game, this still counts as a win in our book!
On Sunday, a link was sent to fans subscribed to the Puerto Rican star’s newsletter. Fans then have the option to choose from a spread of NFL teams, including the L.A. Rams.
Once you click on the concho decked out in blue and gold, you can see four available items. The merch includes hoodies, hats, and t-shirts with the Los Angeles Rams Concho design and the team logo, as well as a Concho plushie.
You can find the merchandise here. It’s expected to ship in 8-12 weeks.
Why a concho?
The concho is a toad native to Puerto Rico who has become a mascot of sorts for Bad Bunny. It was most notably featured in Bad Bunny’s music video for “KETU TeCRÉ,” and in many ways has become synonymous with the rapper and represents his global takeover.
And there’s more!
According to Complex, this might not be all NFL fans have to look forward to. A second drop is reportedly coming on February 8, though what’s included is not yet known.
This is not Bad Bunny’s only connection to L.A.!
Back in 2021, Bad Bunny released the music video for his song “Yonaguni,” which was filmed in a ramen restaurant right here in Los Angeles. The location was none other than Hachioji Ramen in Little Tokyo. It has now become a must-stop ramen shop for fans of the rapper.
Now who’s ready for some football!
