As temperatures climb, one of the region’s biggest summer attractions has officially reopened. Located in San Dimas and less than an hour from Los Angeles, Raging Waters is back for the season, bringing with it more than 50 rides, slides, and attractions spread across a massive area.
Visitors returning this summer can expect a full lineup of water attractions ranging from high-speed thrill slides to family zones and large group play areas. The park operates seasonally and typically draws large crowds during weekends, especially in peak heat months, when its wave pool, lazy river, and shaded cabana areas become central gathering points for guests looking to spend full days inside the park.

High Extreme: America’s #4 best water slide
One of Raging Waters’ standout attractions, High Extreme, has been recognized among the top water slides in the United States in USA Today 10Best reader-voted rankings.
For fans of long-lasting, fast-moving water slides, the attraction is the perfect combo. There are two 600-foot-long flumes on which you’ll ride down on a mat head-first, banking and rocking at speeds of up to 35 miles per hour.
Inside California’s largest water park
Raging Waters is widely recognized as the largest water park in California, spanning roughly 60 acres and featuring more than 50 attractions. The park includes signature thrill rides, large-scale wave pools, a multi-thousand-square-foot interactive water playground, and a lazy river designed for slower-paced floating.
Rounding out the lineup is Aqua Rocket, the state’s only hydromagnetic water coaster and one of its most distinctive attractions. Riders board four-person rafts and are propelled not just downhill but uphill too, thanks to linear induction motor technology that creates a roller-coaster-style flow through the water.
The ride lifts guests roughly 55 feet into the air before sending them through a mix of drops, tunnels, and fast-paced turns that blur the line between slide and coaster. It’s one of the park’s most recognizable attractions and offers a different kind of ride experience from traditional water slides.
