Tulip-picking season is coming to an end at Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark! This charming farm about an hour from L.A. lets you pick-your-own everything, from strawberries to pumpkins. But when their enormous tulip meadow starts to bloom with 500,000 flowers imported from Holland, we’re in for a dazzling sight.
This year’s Tulip Garden Experience will officially close on Friday, March 21st, 2025, so make sure you plan a day trip soon to go tulip picking and bring a beautiful bouquet back to L.A. The farm confirmed that there may still be some tulips available after Friday, but it’ll depend on the weather and supply.
Visitors are invited to come pick their own tulips in Underwood Family Farms’ vast meadow of flowers, with one flower priced at $1.50, six for $7, or twelve for $12. The farm is also overflowing with ripe seasonal produce like broccoli, cabbage, kale, radishes, and spinach, so you can expect to leave with your hands full after spending an afternoon here.
Bring the family and take full advantage of photo ops throughout the meadow, including a charming windmill and Dutch cottage. They also offer numerous exciting attractions for everyone to enjoy, from a tractor-drawn wagon ride to slides and playground equipment. On weekends, they’ll fire up the Tulip Train and serve Dutch stroopwafels hot off the griddle. Don’t forget to pay a visit to the friendly baby goats, mini cow, alpacas, and bunnies at the Animal Center.
If you can’t make it to the tulip garden before it closes on March 21st, not to worry. Underwood Family Farms will next host their popular Springtime Easter Festival from March 22nd – April 21st, where guests are invited to join egg hunts, take pics with Easter-themed backdrops, paint bird houses, and enjoy more spring festivities.
