1. Now you don’t have to go to Bikini Bottom to devour a Krabby Patty
In honor of SpongeBob’s 25th anniversary — our favorite fry cook is flipping patties IRL! Cities across the nation, including Los Angeles, will get the chance to taste the iconic Krabby Patty and secret formula-inspired dishes. From October 8 to October 27, 2024, over 100 Krabby Patty-inspired creations will be served at 250 restaurants across the United States, and luckily L.A. is one of them! 2. Get your cinema scare on Searchlight’s ‘SearchFright’ Horror screenings
Searchlight Pictures is bringing two of its iconic horror films back to the big screen this October with special “SearchFright Pictures” events at the El Capitan Theatre. On October 5th, horror journalist Shannon McGrew will host a screening of The Hills Have Eyes. A week later, on October 12th, Ready or Not fans can join Samara Weaving and the filmmakers from Radio Silence for a Q&A following the film.
Tickets for these one-night-only screenings are available at www.elcapitantheatre.com, and include popcorn, a beverage, and a credential. 3. Munch on a Big Homie Burger at ‘Vought A Burger’ From “The Boys” This Weekend Only
Flying straight out of The Boys universe, the ultimate hamburger joint, ‘Vought A Burger’ is opening in Los Angeles from October 11-13. ‘Vought A Burger’ is the premiere fast food establishment frequented by Supes, Godolkin students, and mere humans in The Boys, Gen V, and The Boys Presents: Diabolical. It’s opening in West Hollywood will run from 3-8 pm on Friday, Oct. 11, 12-8 pm on Saturday, Oct. 12, and 12-5 pm on Sunday, Oct. 13. It’s only open for a very limited time, so fly straight there like Homelander or run on over with superhuman speed just like A-Train.
