Last Christmas, things looked very different but these exciting events are set to deliver a substantial amount of cheer to fill up your calendar this season. While we may be limited to a smaller party of people, the holiday events rolling into town promise to be bigger and better than ever before. So buckle up and set off into the snowy North Pole without leaving the sunny SoCal coast.
1. Bite LA
Bite LA has taken over Legg Lake and transformed it into a winter playground for the whole family—and car! Buckle up and prepare for an action-packed experience, featuring a “sno-ball” fight, a gnome village, a themed sweets crawl, an ugly sweater contest, followed by songs and stories with Santa. 2. Six Flags ‘Holiday In The Park Drive-Thru Experience’
While you won’t be able to go on any ride this year, you’ll still be able to ride through millions of twinkling lights at this magical holiday experience at Six Flags. There’ll be eight dazzling zones throughout the 125-acre theme park are lined up to create one enchanting ride. Find out more here.
3. Dodgers Holiday Festival
The Los Angeles Dodgers will be hosting an inaugural drive-thru Holiday Festival to celebrate the 2020 World Championship win (and the holiday season, of course). From November 27 through December 24, fans will be able to drive into a “snowy” Lot 10 at Chavez Ravine to revel in elaborate light shows, interactive displays, LED videos, and lighting effects all honoring the Dodgers World Championship, but safely.
4. Christmas In Color
This mesmerizing Christmas In Color display is taking over Raging Waters in San Dimas and it’s about the closest you’ll get to a holiday rave—a safe, family-friendly one. An enormous maze of technicolor tunnels beaming in time to jolly tunes to help you ring in the season. Find out more here.
5. Night Of Lights O.C.
Winter Fest OC will be reimagined as a spectacular mile-long drive-through featuring immersive light tunnels with one million lights that will be synchronized to festive music played through your car radio or smartphone. You’ll be able to weave through gorgeous holiday scenery with dazzling animated light shows, a snow globe, an icicle playground, a luminary village, life-size ornaments and special effects. 6. Elf On A Shelf
The Elf on the Shelf’s Magical Holiday Journey drive-thru will be an hour-long car-based adventure through a gingerbread village, twinkling seasonal scenery (designed by Broadway’s David Korins), toy workshops, “Santa’s magical grotto,” and more! Visitors will “shrink” to fit into the Scout Elves’ world and rove through this magical Christmas world and join a mission to fix Santa’s sleigh.
7. Holiday Road
The creators of the popular Nights of the Jack event, have gathered their elves and worked away to bring a taste of the North Pole magic to Los Angeles. Instead of a trail of intricately crafted jack-o-lanterns, you’ll ride through an avenue of illuminated wonder. There’ll be life-size gingerbread houses, arctic landscapes, holiday villages, countless glowing candy canes and more enchanting elements throughout the grounds. Find out more here.
8. Holidays In Your Car

10. Happy Place
The exuberant Happy Place installations return to L.A. this winter and they’ve been completely reimagined for a safe and socially-distanced experience. From November 20 the third floor of Westfield Century City’s parking space will be transformed into a 50,000-square-foot maze of vibrant, selfie-ready displays. Book your tickets here.
